PLAYED ON A 22" TOUCH SCREEN MONITOR. FOR AGES 9-14.
He was the first African-American doctor in New York City. Visitor learns about medical practices in the early to mid 1800's. They get to play Dr. James McCune Smith, as they diagnose and treat a patient. As the activist, visitors get to step in the doctor's shoes and face the same challenges he had to overcome to get where he was as an African American, through a game of "leeches and Ladders".
