"Extra extra..." The story of newsies was hard. Inspired by classic photos of the late 1800s, early 1900s, this exhibit challenges the visitor to survive a three day period as a newsie. Visitors learn how choosing the right paper, locations and the climate impacted the the sale of papers. To survive, they must sell at least 50 papers per day and save enough to sleep and eat. If not, their performance the next day will be compromised. Enjoy a quick clip of the games and the screen grabs that follow.
